Happy BlackJack!

I was able to get one in before the New Year, before the ice sheet my trees are currently sitting in. It continues to ice, and ice, and ice.

Kiln Opening Posts will coincide with New Products Available. As I learn these Kilns and dial in my firing schedules, these K.O. posts will get more in depth, possibly to video. This is my Baby Kiln. The one that will do most of my wood stoke reduction firings. Stay tuned for more detailed info about the individual kilns.

A faster firing than usual, as Backwards World Theory would have it, the pots I thought would come out well didn't, and the ones I thought wouldn't come out well, came out fantastic!
My freshly washed kiln shelves grabbed my alumina waxed feet on the bottom 2 shelves, and held them tightly in place while the rest of the pot shrank, so, though I found that Soribe glaze is as dope as I wanted it to be, and crystals up in this fast cooling Baby Kiln, that pot is in my "to be studied" pile.

Four or five nice Shohin sized Pots came out with some good wood ash effects. One of my best yet ash glazed vases is available too! All in all, the glazes on the pots I lost are so beautiful, I can't even be sad. Knowing what's coming, is keeping me going!
